Women are often guilty of shopping for clothes and accessories they end up not using after all. And the result? Their closet gets full and they’re undecided on what to do with them.
Here then are some warning signs to look out for that should let you know your wardrobe needs to be reduced and organized.
Your clothes no longer fit. If your clothes have become too small for you and could fit your niece, it’s time to give them away and hit the mall. Keep in mind that when it comes to fashion, wearing something that fits right is most important.
Your jeans have holes in them. It may have been years since you last bought a new pair of jeans so if you them worn out and with holes, they need to be given to charity. You can then buy a new pair or two to reward yourself. Your clothes are 10 years old. Some women love to keep wearing their stylish clothes again and again. After all, fashion trends do make a comeback every now and then. But you don’t have to keep them all especially if they’re already old enough. It’s time for a change as they say.
Your favorite purse can’t accommodate your essentials. Things women bring in their bags increase in number as they start to pursue a career. Some may still keep their favorite purse but if you find it can longer fit your essentials (makeup, mobile phone, chargers, etc), it is about time you buy a new an bigger one for yourself.
You always have flats. If you’re afraid of wearing heeled shoes, it’s now time to try it out. Wearing flats all the time can negatively impact your health particularly your back. If you’re not comfortable in a super high 5-inch heeled shoes, then go for the 2- to 3-inch heel or the mid-heel which is in trend today.
